GCT Canada Planners Ratify Agreement

VANCOUVER, September 13, 2018

Following 15 months of negotiations between GCT Canada and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 502, a tentative five year collective agreement was reached for GCT Canada Planners and Assistant Planners on September 6, 2018. We are pleased to announce that this agreement was ratified on September 12, 2018 by GCT Canada employees that are members of the bargaining unit.

We wish to thank members of the bargaining committees as well as the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) for your dedication in establishing a first collective agreement for our planners. We extend our appreciation to our customers and stakeholders for your patience throughout the collective bargaining process.
